Doug and Shanna!

So, I had the privilege of shooting my brother-in-law and his new fiance's engagement shoot.
Actually, I nosed my way in, and asked if I could!!

They obliged!
I think we got some great shots.

I have a thing for silhouette shots.  I was on the lookout for the perfect silhouette shot, and when I saw this arch, I knew it was exactly what I'd been looking for!!  Love it when a plan comes together.

I love this one so much.  The backlight was just spilling into the frame, like they were being showered with light.  {sigh} so beautiful!

A Beautiful Family - The Bauer's

I got to do another photo shoot last weekend.  I was super excited about this one because it just happened to be one of my best friends and her bea.u.tiful family.  I mean seriously, do they get any cuter than this?
We had to cut the photo shoot a little short since little Ellie was teething and had enough.  These are some of my favorites.
Those eyes!  I could go swimming in them!
 and some black and whites...
And look at these eyes...so beautiful.
love profiles of babies.
so romantic...I love this one in color and black and white

Jayli Ann

I had the pleasure of another photo shoot my favorite subjects...Newborns!!
Meet Jayli Ann.  She was born 11 pounds 2 ounces!!

My cup runneth over...I think my all time favorite!

There were so many favorites, I had a really hard time narrowing it down to just a few for the post today!  Jayli just melted my heart, and she did so good for her first photo shoot.

The Glover Family

I had the BEST time photographing the Glover boys...what cute kids!!  It's hard to believe I can call this work, it's more like play!!

Ahhh, Newborns!

Just try and think of something sweeter than a newborn baby!  I don't think there is.
I got to photograph Lillian yesterday!!  She is such a sweetie!  And beautiful to boot.  I'm still  working on a few more edits, but these are some my favorites so far...

What a Lovely Couple!

I just love photography...not only do I get to get creative behind the lens, but I also have the chance to meet great couples like Kendra and Adam. I had a lot of fun last night getting some shots of them.  When we were setting up the photo shoot, I asked Kendra what kind of style fit them best as a couple:  traditional, whimsical, or rustic.  She said they were definitely traditional, but then again Adam was a country boy so maybe they were rustic, but then again they were pretty goofy so maybe whimsical?
I can see now why she had a hard time narrowing it down!  They are all those things rolled up into one great couple!  Here is a few of my favorite shots from last night.

i'm not sure i like the vignette I made in photoshop...love the picture but I need to fix my editing.
